My yearly visit to the relatives will see me and the Mrs celebrating my birthday in January, so I fancy going to a posh hotel with a great view of the smog to celebrate.

So which bar/lounge do you recommend where and why?

So which bar/lounge do you recommend where and why?

Top of the Banyan Tree hotel at Vertigo on Satorn. Go before 6 for great sunset views. For later in the evening go to Scricco at the top of State Tower on Silom. If you want a river view go to the Oriental and sit outside. The new Millenium Hilton also have great views from the top with good jazz music. All are my favorites.
