Ive had a not to return from them "you stay Thailand too long" and kl same theres a bit more covered in the Pennang thread

Okay, well I got back to back TVs from Penang from 2003-2006, always using NJ Books as an agent.

Then a few months ago I got a new passport and have only used VOAs since then. So there are no TVs in my new passport, but I can't determine/haven't heard whether it makes a difference. Perhaps Penang consulate will have me on their computer and instantly refuse me.

So I was thinking Singapore would be better. I know Vientanne is the most friendly but I thought if someone had a recent positive experience from Singapore I'd try that and do some shopping at the same time. I haven't applied there since the 90s so...
