500 protesters play dead in front of Parliament

BANGKOK: -- Some 500 protesters played dead in front of Parliament, lying down on the road for five minutes to protest against the interim legislature.

They were prevented from storming into the compound of Parliament by some five policemen - 300 outside the compound and 200 commandos inside the compound.

The protesters wanted the National Legislative Assembly to stop working but the NLA vowed to continue issuing new laws until the last minute into Friday's night.

I couldn't understand why I was the only person naked there. I thought it was going to be one of those big photo shoots of 1,000 people lying around in the nud_e. The next time I will stay away. I was completely embarrassed by the event!
