I am looking for a special fax machine for my office:

This fax should print out all incoming faxes(as usual) but also should send all these faxes to an email address(pdf file?).

I would like to be able to see and check all incoming faxes when I am not in my office.

Does such machines exist???

Thanks for your help!

When I sold the Ricoh faxes in america earlier this year this was possible but I beleive they arrived as a tiff file and to only 1 E-mail address unless you purchased additional software.

Remember the fax will need have a nic card and connected to a pc

I did not sell the bottom end but I bet they still have this function

Why not set your PC up to receive faxes and get the software needed to forward them by e-mail?

Faxes received on a PC are usually stored in the .tiff format.

No need for a machine. Forward to wherever you want so if you need them printed out at first destination, just email them to a grunt's PC who can print them out. You can then have them emailed to you wherever you are.

Why look at buying hardware.. Go paperless.

Sign up to jfax (eFax).. Then all faxes are digitized and emailed to you and you can print them anywhere at your convenience.

I have been using thier free service (USA inbound number) for about 8 years.. 1000's of faxes and I still have the same fax number I had living a continent away without interruption. If you need a Thai inbound I assume it could be done at a fee.

I think theres a few different services doing this also.

Yeah, i use K7.net. Free incoming FAX and voicemail.

You could setup a rule in your email client to auto-print all the incoming faxes if needed.

to the OP:

Do a Google for auto forward fax by email and you will find an answer.

There is lot of fax server software available which will print AND forward the fax, but of course this requires that your PC and printer are turned on while you are not in the office.
