Cheating, Diving And Conning The Ref.

Cashley Cole and other(s) are appealing their Christmas cards and may well have them rescinded. (spelling?)

Isn't it about time that the FA (or is it up to FIFA?) started using the same process to actually hand out cards and punishments for all the crap that goes on in today's game? They dive, cheat, pull shirts, eblow and do all sorts that the officials just can't see. Added to that, the way they verbally abuse the referees is just disgusting, and not a good example to youngsters who look up to these thugs.

Who agrees that it wouldn't hurt the game and should put a stop to the antics, if video evidence was used in incidents that are not spotted and dealt with by the referee to retrospectively punish these cheats?

Cashley is probably the biggest whinging cheat in the Premier league. He may have been unfortunate to have been red carded, but threr were a number of other incidents in that game were he had dived and moaned at the ref, and could easily been yellow carded a number of times.

I agree, and I think that as they do in rugby, players can be cited and punished after the game if the ref has missed it. Although I am a United fan, and Ronaldo has a bit of a reputation, I actually don't think he is really the worst perponent of it at all. In fact Chelsea are absolutley disgraceful in their behaviour, and they surround the referee on every occassion the decision goes against them. I also think that Ballack was lucky to stay on the pitch as well on Boxing day, and the club should be charged with failure to control their players for their behaviour.

Totally agree.

Cashley could not play for any other club.

Whenever Chelsea loose or draw, the whole world are against them.

All the Ref's are against them. FA is against them.

Everybody is against them.

The worst one was also for a while in Chelsea. Arjen Robben.

And Ballack? I bet they got him only because he is a diver. He dove and got a penalty against Chelsea in Champions, remember?

This strong man fell like he was shot the other day and got a penalty again.

Then the classic one when Terry is clipping someone, and quickly runs towards the ref, shouting and screaming.

Ronaldo seems to grow up.

Not so much cheating as last season.

Watching his last match. A defender stepped on his foot around 18-20 yards from the goal, but he continued the run to gain balance. Last season he would have gone down.

I am a bit concerned about Nani and Anderson. But I guess Ferguson will educate them.

It's easy to stop if they want to, just have referees look at the video of all games after they're finished and if any player is found diving, cheating or generally trying to con or bully the referee ban them for say ten games and, for league games, deduct ten points from their club, and for cup games kick their clubs out of the competition. The first AND last word from the manager to all players would be 'don't cheat', but neither the FA or FIFA want to stop it, they're quite happy to have supporters argue about all the controversial points in the game, it keeps football in the news.

Personally I would like to see it stopped.
