Long Term Rooms For Rent In Phuket

Featured Replies

I am considering spending half of my time in Phuket because my partner may move there for work. He will need a place to stay and for me to visit. I have found small rooms to rent with minimal facitilities (shower, toilet, fan) for 2,000 baht per month elsewhere around Thailand. I am used to living in buildings where I am the only farang, so that is not a concern. Is anyone here aware of apartment buildings in Phuket Town or elsewhere on Phuket like this? I am sure they are there for Thai residents, but don't know how to find one without my usual Thai guide to read the signs and negotiate.

I've talked to a few taxis that live cheap out near the airport. But I have no first hand knowledge of any such place.

If you look in May, You'll find rooms for 3500-5000 and up. Those same rooms now go for 6000-9000+.

The cheapest place I know of was near Rachanachai boatyard in Phuket town.

1500 bath a month ( I was using it for store of stof frommy boat ) not a nice place but what you asked fore.

In Sai yuan i heard of bungalows from 4000 B nice aria

And I have new apartment fore rent starting from 6000 b.

If you go down to the Muslim areas in the south of Phuket there are many Thai families who rent out small basic places for that price but you really need to know Thai people in the area to find them
