I got married and now i have to change my last name in the passport, do i have to go to Bangkok or just send some papers there with money? and where do i have to do it, also what papers do i need?

As long as your name is the same on the House papers, ID and passport, you dont have to change your name....In fact you dont have to change your name at all after a registered Thai marriage. That was repealed about 4 or so years ago.

If you want to change your name....have the ID and House paper changed at the local Amphur....take them to the Passport Office in BKK with your marriage certificate or marriage registration paper and your old passport....and they will change the name
