The Nasa article (that the link cites) only talks about the effect of Sun belt activities (solar flares vs cosmic radiation), not the effects on the Earth's weather patterns. However, there is a wealth of materials that positively establish that the Earth's weather patterns are cyclicle. The problem for the population is that human activity may be exacerbating the effects of those cycles. According to one view, the pollutants in the atmosphere are contributing to a phenomenon known as 'global dimming', which is actually retarding the amount of heat affecting surface temperatures. There is a view that if we were successful in reducing pollutants, this may actually increase global warming. (No - this is not from research by vested interests.) It is a complex issue and Gore's simplistic crusade doesn't address all the variables.

The environmental movement has a lot of truth in its claims and most of the people involved are trying to be responsible people. However, the whole movement is being manipulated by the money power and used to distract people and obfuscate the REAL problem in this world......the worldwide banking and money system.
