Thai Public Holidays 2005?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I know on this site there is a list of Thai public Holidays for 2003 and 2004, which I've used and found very useful.

Is there one yet for 2005? I'm currently compiling next year's fixture list for our quiz leagues down here in Pattaya, and we need to avoid the public holidays as the bars will be shut.

If there's not a list on this site - does anyone know where I can get hold of one?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks ever so much George (wow that was the quickest reply I've ever known!). I shall immediately copy and paste your reply into Word.

Thanks again. :o

BTW George, I notice that Ahsalahabucha Day is not on your list. Am I right in assuming that it's the day before Khao Phansa Day, i.e. June 22nd 2005?

Thanks once again.

I kknow we had elections in Pattaya in March, but are there going to be any more next year? Another bar-drought.

There's going to be a General Election next year. No-one's sure of the date yet, but most informed pundits think it will be sometime in February, And, yes, it does mean that the bars will be closed for 2 days, to help Thaksin get his expected 400+ seats. He'll then be able to run Thailand as a dictatorship. I see interesting days ahead.
