Have the requirements for a OA retirement Visa changed in the last few months?

Is it now Baht 800,000 in a Thai bank OR 65,000 per month in income and NO LONGER a combination of the two to equal 800,000? I have also heard that those grandfathered in at a lower annual rate must now meet the 800,000 in a Thai bank requirement.

A combination of income and savings is still acceptable for retirement purposes. The 800,000 seems to be the standard now.

As far as I know, those Grandfathered on the old 200,000 baht

(pre 1997?) are still OK on that level.
