Luckydog

Featured Replies

I was looking through some old forum topics and saw some postings by this Luckydog fellow, and saw that his status was 'Banned'. I looked at his posts and none of them seemed crazy or inordinately offensive, so why did he get banned? Do the mods have to reach a consensus before banning somebody, or can any mod ban anyone at any time?

Just trying to get a sense of how these fora work, thanks.

I'm not a mod. but:-

  1. You should read the rules, discussion of moderation issues is not permitted on the open forums.
  2. The posts which caused the ban (if it was posts) will likely have been deleted if they were sufficiently out of order to require a ban.

Bans are not handed out lightly so he/she/it must have done something pretty bad.

And yes, I believe that a concensus of the mods/admin is required before bans are meted out (actually I think mods can only suspend members, only admin can ban).
