Crossing The Road

Featured Replies

I was wondering if other people have same problem and get annoyed as me , crossing main roads say like Sathorn is not easy at the best of times , but almost every time i am at the edge of the road ready to cross , if a Taxi or Tuk Tuk is approaching they always stop in front of me as if i need to catch a taxi and block me from crossingEven when i am walking down the road Tuk Tuk stop as if i need them , Why do these Brain Surgeons think that every Ferang needs to catch a Taxi or a Tuk Tuk and more important do they not know we understand how to hail one down if we need to ?

Carry car keys in your hand and look straight ahead.

:D you were saying?

Hit the wrong button :o

flag down a taxi and then stand in front of it, then flag down another taxi so it parallel parks, eventually you will get across the road and all the traffic will be waiting for you!

Or do it with Tuk Tuks, and jump from roof to roof, your own personal overpass. Much safer. Do it the Thai way

Up in poor Issan its cycle Saamlaw, you need to jump from bony leg to bony leg, but if they do not care about you, why should you about them?

Get a spine man.....

Thats a real gem :D I shall have to try that.

But you forgot to mention that, as you step safely onto the opposite pathway you get hit by a motorcycle taxi using the path as his own personal highway. :o
