September 13, 200421 yr Thanks for the link. Just want to add this: "O Smach (Surin) - Chom Som"... I suppose they mean Chong Jom, and that's in Surin. And O Smash, it is in Cambodia. So it's a mix up. Kap Choeng is the city just before Chong Jom. They won't stamp "Chong Jom" in the passport, but "Kap Choeng". The Cambodians stamp "O Smach". So, I suppose that the info on gt-rider is not correct regarding this particular border (I have been there myself many times). Regards, Mike
September 13, 200421 yr Author Mike Thanks for the reply & hot tip re the border crossing from Surin. Its always a problem trying to get good clear info, & your post helps a lot. From your experience then, the correct ports are Kap Cheong, Thailand – O Smach (Cambodia) to make it only one legal crossing from Surin.
