Jockstar
Try Fortune town It mall. I bought a new graphics card the pther week. But not as high spec as the one you want. I got the Geforce FX 5900. That was 10000 baht. Didn't look at anything above this, due to the money.
Ian_B
I have not seen the latest Nvidea 6800 or ATI x800 cards in Thailand yet. When they first arrive expect to pay over the odds for them! Your best bet may well be mail order from US
Sumppen
Don't know about thailand, but in Malaysia those can be found already. Take a look at the priceslists on http://www.lowyat.net
Phil Conners
I asked in Tukcom, Si Racha, and the guy there said they were available in Pantip BKK, Nvidia 6800 Ultra for around 19K, ATI x800 around 22K. Don't shoot the messenger

An "ultra card" should cost around 27-30 000.- Peter_Patong
Firefoxx
I was just in Seri Center today. They had both the ultra and the x800 listed. However, they said they didn't have it in stock, it was special order only, with next day availability. They said that their head office had imported a whopping 2 (count 'em) of the ultras. With PCI-X boards appearing, isn't it a bit strange to be paying this much for an AGP card?
Phil Conners
That's what I thought. He wrote it down on a piece of paper I still have here: "Nvidia FX 6800 UL 256 MB ~ 19,000"

Firefoxx
Sorry, I don't remember which store, since this is the first time in a year that I've been to Seri. It's one of those cookie-cutter stores that have a glass counter in the front and shelves in the back filled with merchandise. The 6800 Ultra is listed on the price list in front of the store, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. I remember that they had a mini-tower lian-li case in the back, to the right. They also had some wireless access points on the top shelf in the back and left.
Firefoxx
You might have better luck at Busitek, Pantip. They usually bring in pretty exotic stuff (like the expensive Lian-li cases and water cooling products). They have the 6800 ultra listed on their web, and you can call to check if they stock it. http://www.busitek.com/forms/pricelist.html
The Coder
I think it's financially unwise to purchase any high end stuff inside Thailand. Every price mentioned for everything in this thread has been a complete rip off versus US street prices. Just go to pricewatch.com and get a sense of what you could be paying for such things. Tyreman
Busitek is the right address, they get their stuff from a company called com7, www.comseven.com Com 7. Com7 imports AMD and Leadtek Winfast etc. At Comseven the people are extremely helpfull also and will let you know when they get things and pricing. I got my mobo's and amd 64's from them and also X800 and 6800GT. They've not missed a promised date on all of this. So, check out Com7, they'll tell you where and when and Busitek is one of their customers... Goodluck
Peter_Patong
Busitek look as a nice hardware shop. But they cannot deliver FX 6800 Ultra cards yet. It seems that nobody in the world can deliver those cards due lack of 6800u chipset. Peter_Patong
Phil Conners
Hence the skyhigh price ... wait on a little and you'll surely find the price quickly adjusting to a more reasonable price range. In the meantime, what about playing some CS
