Any idea of the meaning of "แฟนานุแฟน" as in the sentence:

"แต่ก็ไม่ใหม่เลย หากใครเป็นแฟนานุแฟนของ "ผู้จัดการรายสัปดาห์" เพราะเคยปรากฏนามนี้ระยะสั้นๆ " ?

Could the word mean "Super Fan"?

The sentence would read ". . . But this would not be a new [name] for one who is [an avid reader of / an aficionado of / a rabid fan of] "Manager, Weekend Edition" where this name appeared for a short period of time."

It's a slang means "groups of fans" by using the sondhi rule of pali-sanskrit to combine 2 words, แฟน and อนุแฟน.

the pattern is ___ + อนุ____ = ___านุ____ (อนุ = little) so, the literal meaning of แฟนานุแฟน is "big fans and small fans"

แฟนานุแฟน = แฟน + อนุแฟน

other examples,

ศิษยานุศิษย์ = ศิษย์ + อนุศิษย์

คุณานุคุณ = คุณ + อนุคุณ

You would've come across a similar construction that wasn't the same word in both parts, though:

พจน 'word' + อนุกรม 'order' = พจนานุกรม 'dictionary'

สาระ + อนุกรม = สารานุกรม "encyclopedia"

etc.
