The Executive Vice President of Thai Airways International (THAI), Mr. Pandit Chanapai (ปานฑิต ชนะภัย), says THAI is planning to raise the fares for international flights by another five percent next month. However, he says the increase is unrelated to the rising oil prices.

Mr. Pandit says the airfares, especially to Europe and Australia, will be higher as THAI has added more decorations and facilities in its passenger rooms with a budget of 120 million US dollars. He says the international airfares of THAI, once adjusted, will still be lower when comparing to other airlines. (TNA)
