Living On World Pensions

Featured Replies

I often wonder how people live on Social Security in Thailand.

On my last visit i met a old guy who lived on 1084.00 australian per month,i suppose about 29000 baht a month.

Well i heard theres a lot of Swiss on disability pensions living quite comfy in Thailand,my question is how much in baht does a Swiss national on a disability pension get monthly from the govt.

Your probaly thinking, who cares, but if theres as much Swiss that i heard then there pay must be good.

So you can easily find out via www.centrelink.gov.au that aussie pensioners get $542 per forthnight.

im not sure about Disability pensioners though.

I wonder if its possible to get a Disability pension whilst living in Thailand from the Australian Govt.? ooooooh geeez i hurt me back!
