ozymandious
The Patong Deli - Ratutit Rd. (aka the middle road) turn down the one way street that runs south through patong the deli will be about 400 meters up on your left hand side. The hotel that overshadows the deli (also has a bigger sign out side) is called the "shamrock inn" Parking is on the street so be on the look out. Cental-Tops-Marketplace Saw Marmite on sale in the supermarket only a day ago it wasn't on a normal shelf but on a special display stand at the bottom of the cold foods section (between the cold meats and dairy sections) Happy hunting Edit: Spelling Edited February 5, 2008 by ozymandious

Ping
They stock Vegemite at Big C in the deli section. Comparatively expensive though. Can't remember the price, but I think somewhere around B120 to 150 for a small jar. However, if Marmite is okay for you, then so be it.
Zpete
Useless Info Dept An 8oz - 455gram pot of Vegemite from Australia sells in NZ for around 100 Baht, less on special. The jar has label saying 1923 was the beginning of manufacture. I personally layer Marmite or Vegemite on fresh bread or toast daily. Use both for a change. Great when doing fried onions, a teaspoon of either, makes insipid gravy, great As for "Acquired taste", balderdash, Kiwi and OZ kids have loved the stuff from first time they tried it, usually on rusks. Marmite predates Vegemite by 21 years. Many know that Vegemite is a copy of Marmite, despite denial by Aussies.. Smells f****n horrible. Tastes OK though.......... lol Check here for history and links regarding Marmite. http://www.ilovemarmite.com/marmite-history.asp Likewise, check out history of Vegemite. http://whatscookingamerica.net/History/VegemiteHistory.htm Happy shopping folks. HDRIDER
HI Did see Vegemite it in Deli today, 2 size, big one was 5xx Baht Donna, You dont have to send it, i really dont like that stuff, mind you i had it in my house in Aus for 4 years, and i did try to like it but no, you have to be born Down Under to like that that that that stuff, my brother is living down there now, been there since 1987, he dont like it. Once we had a girl from back home (Europe) visiting us, she saw this vegemite in our kitchen, oohhhh Nutella, and she took a very thick layer on her bread, my brother and i did not say anything, you should have seen her face, she did not like it either. And she did not try it again.
