Sorry to hear about Floyds collapse, love to watch him on TV, great sense of humor and one of the few TV chefs who does not have sceenes in which he srewed up removed to end up on the cutting floor.

Here is a man who like his "tipple" :o and the last two times he's spend a prolonged time in Phuket he's collapsed towards the end of his stay or now, afterwards ..... hmmm seems 6 weeks alone in Phuket and than a week living in a pub and surely not on a "green Tea" binge somehow overcame the old, well tested liver.

Sincerely hope he's gonna come out of this and make a speedy recovery,

hmmmm lazeboy ... assume you are a girl/woman .. well female anyway because that's exactly what the "old lady" namely the wife likes to say whereby "excess" in her case means any booze at all ... I on the other hand figure that a few pints or glasses of wine on occasions are well within healthy limits ... should sepple read this ...yes the 15 pints that time was the exception to the rule . :o .

However I have to take poor Floyd's side here .. being a chef is a dangerous profession .. many meals are cooked with wine and either you only need half a bottle or one isn't enough and you have to open and use only a little bit of the second one ... now what to do with the rest ... let it go off in the fridge or do as old Floyd does .... feed it to the Chef ... hmm I must admit that I also tend to choose the latter.. :D but keep it withi limits .. I do understad poor Floyd though because when travelling, of which he did and hopefully will do gain an awful lot, the booze somehow seems to go down a lot easier, just look at the Tourists in Phuket.

Once again, all the best and a speedy recovery to Floyd,

John
