I am trying to move files from my desktop computer to my laptop so I dug out my old Usb to Usb cable but when I plugged it into my laptop it asked for an installation disk which I can't find anywhere....is there a site I can get them from?

Middle in the cable is an device, look a\to find the type (Name, Model pp.) and google for the driver for that device.

This is all it says on the cable:

E74020 - C AWM STYLE 2835 60(degrees sign) C 30V DER AN

That is printed 2-3 times along the cable, there is a box in the middle of the cable that just says 'USB to USB Inter Link'
