Hi,

My gf told me that after giving birth she would like to get a one week treatment by this company in order to recover faster.

Anybody have experience with it?

Never heard of it before but I suppose that as she is giving you a baby you should give her whatever she wants :o

No problem with that, but I'd prefer to know it's safe, or even better, useful.

It's not because it's based on ancestors knowledge and it's natural, herbal, or whatever that's it's good...

I know was just joking with you.

I know a lot of rural women perform certain rituals after giving birth, lying near an open fire of herbs/sauna type thing, apparently it helps the uturus contract & interal things to heal etc, as to whetehr it works, well, who knows. If it makes mum feel better doing it then like you say, as long as it's safe.....

Maybe get her to ask around on some of the thai forums, there was a few links posted in another thread started by MrBojangles a few days ago that were specifically for thai women.

My experience is that they want it beause someone else had it or has heard about it. My missus keeps going on about this and that and when I ask about it she doesn't know anything about it only seen some advertising or similar. Japanese very much the same.
