OK I know i get a little wordy so I will try to simplify this and hope to get a response.....

The last entry on my tourist visa runs out February 23rd. I am hoping to get a 60 day extension based on the fact that i registered my marriage back in December and read on this forum that immigration will grant 60 days with the proper paperwork (marriage cert. and registration) I live in the northeast. my questions are....

1) Can I go to any provincial immigration office to get this extension or do I have to go to Sathorn in Bkk.?

2) I was recently hired for a job and I am just waiting for the paper work so I can change my tourist visa to a non B. ( this is also why I need the extension) My contract starts in April and the paper work should be ready by the end of this month or the first week in March.

Can i do a change in visa status at immigration or do I have to leave the country for this? If I can do it at immigration do I need to go to Bkk. or can I go to any provincial office?

Any useful feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you from a newbie
