It Malls In Bangkok

Featured Replies

I know of Pantip, but are there any other IT Malls in Thailand? Isn't there one close to an MRT station? Please give me some general directions on getting there if you can. Appreciated.

Fortune ... adjacent to MRT Rama 9.

Seri Center on Sri Nakorin Road.

Myself use 'Pantip 2' New building last year, All IT on 4 floors of the 12 floor building [Nontaburi], or drive a bit further and go to 'Seer Ransit' Very big [by old airport]

But a long walk to the MRT for the last two replies....

Another one but not close to the MRT (so irrelevant to the question of the OP) .... The Mall Bangkapi.

I can only think of Fortune City near a MRT. Not near a MRT but a good mall is also IT Square (Laksi Plaza) near Chaeng Wattana.

Why irrelevant ?? This was the question:

The question of "are there any other IT Malls in Thailand? " so my 2 I use, Pantip 2 and Seer Ransit are in Thailand and just outside BKK, as is yours "The Mall Bangkapi"

ignis,

what's Seer like? I always use Laksi for convenience but it can be frustrating when you want something specific, then I use Fortune. Is it straightforward driving to Seer, I've seen it from the expressway but never driven along the bottom to it.

Never had any problems finding what I want there + there is a big section of 'used' parts. Pantip 2 is the nearest to me so for the last year [as it is a new building] I have been using this, but needed a part a couple of months ago, everywhere in Pantip 2 was NO HAVE, so drove on to Seer Ransit and yes got the part easy.

So on the bottom road it is well sign posted, exit before going over the river and the U turn is beside the river..........

If you use the expressway you could also branch off and go to Nontaburi..... believe it is the 2nd exist after the 10baht Toll, from the expressway you can see it on the right a 13 story blue glass building, after you come down from the expressway keep on the left as the car park is just before the building > big sign says TOPS Supermarket maybe 50m from the expressway exsit

:o cheers for the info!

Laksi is good. I bought an external hard drive and a USB multi-port component there.

Another thing you might want to check out for some good deals is the occasional .com Expo, which is held pretty regularly at Queen Sirikit Convention Center. They have a good line of most everything you might need (webcams, notebooks, etc.) at reduced prices.
