Slightly related to Reimars topic about Server 2008.

In our office we have 4 PC's running. One acts as the 'server' and we 3 all connect our PC's to it via lan cables.

All PC's run Win XP home edition.

Money and technical know-how are the only two limitations!

What would the ideal configuration of operating systems be to optomise speed. We all access an MS Access data and there are VB applications that run throughout the day syncing our local database (access) with our MSSQL database on our web server.

Any ideas gratefully accepted.
