Internet Subscription Options

Hi,

I have a laptop and im needing some decent connection in my apartment. However, the apartment i am staying in is using those phonelines where u call a commonline and den enter your room umber. not a personal 1.

I have asked the landload about having an internet connection but she said she is not making 1 soon yet.

so without a personalise phoneline and no wifi signal around, what are my options to having a decent conection?

i need a connnection for occasional internet and webcam with my family.

tot of using mobile phone as a modem but tts simply toooooo slow
