what does 'kreng krat' mean?

I heard it used speaking about not celebrating next weeks holiday. Does it mean not religious or not devout possibly?

assuming it's เคร่งครัด, it actually means strict, especially in a religious sense. so, perhaps people are saying something like "X is not celebrating the holiday because he is strictly religious" ie. the holiday is contrary to his own strict religious beliefs. do you have an example sentence?

all the best.

ps. usually you'll see นับถือ [a religion] อย่างเคร่งครัด = to believe strictly in the religion; to be a devout follower
