All the illegal immigrant's needs and wants have to be paid for somehow. Food, clothing, housing, education, healthcare, spending money etc., are not cheap in this day and age. Add on top of that the cost of crime; legal, and incarceration for many, it's a bit bigger than "a drop in the ocean." Also the culture of just "collecting the dole" rather than working is an even bigger drain.
