Where Can I Get A Non-b?

Featured Replies

anyone knows if there are any non immigration-b visas issued from penang now?

i want to apply for a visa so i can apply for a work permit once back in thailand. do i still need a flight out from thai? and if so, can this ticket be to any country not bordering thailand?

i've heard penang is getting difficult, does anybody know where it might be easier to get a non-b with the intention of applying for work permit? anybody knows kl, singapore, vientianne etc, and if i will need a flight or not...?

thankful for any answer!!

You are expected to apply for a work permit first at most local Consulates. With the Labor Department receipt and company paperwork they will issue a single entry non immigrant B visa and you use that when the work permit is approved.

Indeed, as Lopburi says, you apply for work permit regardless of what visa you are holding, and when approved they will issue a form (WP3) stating that your work permit will be granted once you get the non immigrant visa.

When you go to another country, how long does it take to get a non imm B? Same day / 1 day / 3 days / 1 week?

Almost all Consulates accept application in morning and provide visa next workday at about noon or after.
