lost my passort over xmas.

i was on a 12 month class B multi entry. visa goes with the passport and not theperson so no longer have it

on re-issue on passport they verfied i was on a B, multi and re stamped me until 26th January which is 3 months from when i arrived.

they also pu i was on a class B. of course they did not give me another one !

my question .

i am plannign on doing a visa run tommorow morning, i was thinking easy , just a run to the cambodia market area.

BUT.. i'm now not sure waht my replacement visa is classed as .

i cannot do a 90 day addon as i no onger have the class B.

so guess i need to get a 30 day tourist visa on re-entry. this will do as i go back to UK in 18 days anyway for a month.

can i get this in cambodia ? as i jsut saw on another site that lao is for tourist visa's and a multi entry visa is needed to the cambodia run .

Since you are currently on a visa (non immi), you can just do a border run to Cambodia which will give you 30 days when re-entering Thailand. No re-entry vis is needed!

Do take your outbound flight ticket (to the UK) and make sure you have proof of funds (10,000 Baht for a single traveler)

The ticket they will want to see for sure, the funds maybe!

Only thing I don't really understand is that you state you are allowed until 26th of January, in which case you are almost a month in overstay.

Unless you already did a border run, in which case you have received already 1 time the 30 days on arrival.

In case you already did a border run, no worries, you are entitled to 3 of them and you only used 1!

Just took a look at the scanned picture, and it shows you are allowed to remain until the 26th of February, and not till January as you stated in your post!

So no worries, do a border run to Cambodia, bring along your ticket and you'll have no problem!
