Favorite Online Radio Shows

I like: CARTALK: A weekly 1 hour podcast: cartalk.com hosted by NPR

previous shows can be accessed, but there's now a nominal fee of less than $1 per show. The current week's show is free.

PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION http://prairiehome.publicradio.org/programs/ It's also a podcast, and all its hundreds of previous shows can be accessed as podcast. Garrison Keilor is probably the best story-teller on radio, and arguably the most adept host.

America's 'National Public Radio' ( NPR.org ) is commercial-free, listener-sponsored, and has a wealth of interesting interviews and shows - all on poscast, but they don't pull up as well as I'd like with my slow internet reception (CAT CDMA wireless).

The easiest internet hook-up (for me) and most variety online radio show (it's live, not podcast) is KVMR.org

They're also a non-profit and have close to 50 different volunteer DJ's, who host all types of shows. It's been broadcast out of Nevada City, northern California for about 30 years.

If Thailand could ever get a radio station 1/1,000th as good as KVMR, it would be great.

.....what are your favorites?

bbc radio 4 has good news and documentaries , and it also has "i'm sorry i haven't a clue" , a great comedy show.

Personally I think Chris Moyles can't be missed.

Get the podcast, listen live or listen delayed, the best Radio One has to offer ( don't miss Jonathon Ross also, Radio 2)

that's appreciated, for sure, but URL's would help save some time on a search

'Clue' is a classic, unfortunately not running at the moment, Dead Ringer can be quite funny and one called Old Harry's Game is also amusing, and The Beaton Generation, and The Now Show when it returns.

Personally I think Chris Moyles can't be missed.

Choose the station you want or the type of show from the pop-up menus near the top.
