Question Details:my passport enters Singapore without visa but i need visa to enter Thailand. i need to apply for a student visa to thailand next week(have all the documents) but i'm thinking of touring Singapore first, then apply my Student visa to thailand from singapore.

the question is, is it possible for me to buy a one way ticket to singapore and buy another one way from singapore to thailand?the thailand visa is suppose to be for a year. i'm currently living in china. like; china - singapore- one way and singapore - thailand- one way.

your advise would be highly appreciated. it's the school advise to apply the thailand student visa from singapore.

Singapore check in people are tough. But with a Non-Imm ED visa you should be fine. Show them your school acceptance if need be.

If you will not tell us your passport country how do you expect an answer? The big question is if China will allow you to exit and airline will allow you to fly with a one way ticket and no visa.

Once in Singapore and you have obtained the ED visa exit/entry into Thailand should be possible on a one way ticket.
