I bought an Olympus 2GB XD picture card from MBK. After 2 weeks it's not working at all, I can't even view the pics taken previously.

I'm wondering if it's a fake? The price was B1,400. It looks original enough and has a serial #on the back. Is there anything that can be done to save it? I don't have the receipt so can't expect much help from them.

Can anybody recommend shops that will give (and honor) a guarantee? As I don't want to be in a similar position again next week.
