February 29, 200818 yr Today only happens every 4 years, and really should be a public holiday around the world, as it is an 'extra' day. So what are you doing with your bonus day? Me I'm just gonna laze around the pool and then go out on the lash tonight. It's a free day, you shouldn't be working or anything daft like that. Anyone have a birthday today? Would be a bummer if you did, but then again if it were my birthday today I would be 9, so its not all bad. I've just thrown my Thai calendar in the bin as I just noticed it only had 28 days this month! Haha (that means it really is a bonus day, it's not even on the calendar). Sorry for the random post but I am a bit bored - nothing planned as I didn't know today was happening!

Sorry for the random post but I am a bit bored - nothing planned as I didn't know today was happening! I too nearly threw two calendars away because they showed today as the 29th Feb. I'd completely forgotten it's a leap year. Mad cows disease is slowly taking over
February 29, 200818 yr Well, um, those of us who have jobs generally look at the calendar a little ahead and have noticed that today exists- and that we have to work on it. No biggie, actually.
February 29, 200818 yr why is it so different ? it's been like that for centuries.....nothing new or special . Just take this day as an opportunity to make a bit more money
February 29, 200818 yr In some countries, 29 February is a special day as it's the one day a lady is allowed to propose to her boyfriend. I wonder if any Thai ladies know this. Peter
