VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL!!! The emergency travel document issued by the Spanish embassy will no be valid for a flight with any stop in a third country, only valid for direct flights! I was in the same situation years ago, had to buy a new direct flight. -

90 Day Reporting - NOT accepted at Jomtien Immigration
Anyone knows why you can't do 90 day reporting at Jomtien Immigration? I asked yesterday if I could do it online at the 90 day desk, lady looked at my passport and said no, I have to do it in person. I have a DTV as my visa. I would've thought I could save some time and hassle if I could do it online. Is this another case of Jomtien being a pain in the bumhold office like usual? I forgot to ask yesterday, how soon in advanced are you allowed to do a 90 day report? -

Russian driver crashes into Thai couple’s motorcycle, denies responsibility
Wow....dared. Or perhaps just make sure the compensation is fair or wait for what insurance has to say. It seems like the Russian couple stopped and offered help, unlike the usual runner their countryman would normally pull. Didn't Britman glorify his Thai motorbike insurance compensating him and giving a very good care in a government hospital? I mean, that thread was just full of praise for police, insurance company, hospital staff and the Amazing Thailand in general. Or....cough....someone drove the motorbike with no insurance?
