I've fallen into Grab (food) "customer service" hell!
Hypothetically, what happens if Grab gets your location wrong and you don't get your food? Does the driver get penalised? Do they hunt down the customer to pay for it? -

Chiang Rai Experiences Two Small Earthquakes Within One Hour
The province of Chiang Rai was hit by two earthquakes of 1.4 magnitude each within a span of an hour. There were no immediate reports of any tremors after the quakes. The first 1.4 magnitude earthquake took place at 1.59am today, August 6, according to the Earthquake Surveillance Division of the Meteorological Department. The epicenter was located in the Pong Phrae subdistrict, Mae Lao district, approximately 4 kilometers beneath the earth's surface. Initial reports did not indicate any tremors. The second earthquake, also tracked at a magnitude of 1.4, occurred at 2.36am. Its epicenter was in the Saai Khao subdistrict, Phan district, merely 1 kilometer below the surface. This location is a bit southeast from where the first quake originated. There were also no immediate reports of tremors from this quake. Earthquakes are not unusual for Chiang Rai province, which is situated in northern Thailand. The relatively weak magnitudes of these recent quakes suggest they were minor. Even though these earthquakes occurred closely in time and location, there were no immediate reports of any damages or injuries. Local government officials alongside the Earthquake Surveillance Division are closely monitoring the situation. While the region has faced more significant seismic events in the past, these recent quakes are a reminder of the area's geological instability. People living in Chiang Rai province are being encouraged to remain vigilant, but not to panic, as these quakes were of a low magnitude. It is always recommended to take precautions in such scenarios. Local government officials are making sure that all required protocols are ready in case of any aftershocks or future earthquakes. Residents felt a minor shake, but it wasn't cause for concern. They praised the authorities for their swift response and regular updates. The occurrence of these earthquakes hasn't raised significant worries, but they do underscore the need for earthquake readiness in the region. Buildings in areas prone to earthquakes are commonly built to withstand such minor shakes, ensuring the safety of inhabitants. 5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
You may take the immigration official's information to mean that he will grant you a 6-month extension of stay for the reason you outlined if you opt to apply for it after having entered with a DTV visa. As the Police order with the criteria and requirements for extensions doesn't seem to have been amended and published yet, it is useful for you have this advance assurance before applying for the visa in Cambodia. Thank you for having posted it. -

Someone who can readily handle themselves is going to trash one of these "bouncers" one day, because they have to fight in packs, or get a running start before kicking someone in the head that's already down. Only problem is, when that bouncer goes to the hospital, the foreigner will be blamed even if he didn't start the fight but finish it. -
