Continuing Uk Sales Work From Thailand

Featured Replies

I hope you can help

I work for a LTD company based in the uk only with uk customers. I am a sales manager. I do not work from the office but remotely.

It is possible for me to go to thailand and all my sales related telephone calls being diverted to me there. The products I would be selling would already be in the UK, despatched by the company I work for in the UK, moneys paid for the goods would be recieved in the uk.

The company I work for would continue to pay me in my UK bank account. I would not be able to stay in Thailand for long periods of time, but upto two months at a time.

I think the question Im asking is

Am i able to continue my british based job in thailand to alow me to add time to my stay. Answereing the telephone and emails

I am applying for a B Visa will this help

Yes you can.

Just do it.

With a Class B visa (most easily obtained from Thai consulate at Hull), you could stay here 90 days at a time.

You will be working unofficially here - "below the radar screen."

Good luck!

Thank you for the quick reply.

I know how to obtain a B visa, ( with info frmo this site)

Just one more question

I dont wont to have any problems with the police or immagration about the work I will be doing. And end up with a horror story, i.e. beign thrown out of the country and banned for 99yr. on a missunderstanding.

Once again thank you for the last reply. this site is very helpful.

Thailand ignores you unless you are receiving compensation inside Thailand from a Thai employer.

I have NEVER heard of an exception.

Your one burden is that you must make visa runs every 90 days.

Cheers!
