Are There More Free Ubc Channels?

Featured Replies

I had UBC turned back on for a month just to see what I was missing. I have the dish. Anyway it was disconnected again today (it will likely stay that way as there is no way is it value for money). Thing is though that I still have some HBO movie channels (signature and so on) and a couple of discovery channnels. Are these now free or is this a mistake.

it is the gold package that offers the movie channels and discovery channel.

So it must be a mistake then?

That sounds like the new special packages they are selling at extra added cost to normal subscription packages. It is not the "Gold" package.

do explain. i've never heard of this before. i may be over paying.

The gold package includes one HBO channel so it is not that. About 4 months ago they started an optional additional package in three categories that you could add to normal packages at an additional price (if using digital decoders). One of these is HBO hits/signature/family at an added cost of 220 baht per month over the Gold price.

The thing is though that I only reconnected for a month. I expected to have already returned to just Thai TV and most of the other channels have disconnected. I am currently getting these for free. I was just wondering if this is just a mistake. Mind you, I'm not complaining about it.
