Google Earth

So I’m always behind with all this new technology stuff but for the last couple of days have been playing with Google Earth and I am impressed.

I can see our little house here in LOS I can also see my old house back in suburbs of London, even see the new owners car in the drive as well as my mothers house on the south coast of England. Ain’t this technology stuff amazing?

While on the “I’m amazed” theme have you been watching the USA elections?

(What a shambles) anyway the other day they had this presenter with large (6ftx4ft?) touch screen with the states outlined and as the guy touched the screen that particular state zoomed up and if he wanted to highlight a point he would dab his finger on a color at the side of the screen an then be able to draw on the screen with his finger with that color.

Amazed Daffy

Even more impressive: Google Maps for Thailand now available with English and Thai. In Google Maps you can toggle to Satellite view (which is Google Earth). Agree the resolution is better for Thailand than some parts of the U.S.A. Many, many cool maps, based on this new Google map, out there already for Bangkok and Thailand.

Google maps are quite impressive. The desktop version has Thai and English. Unfortunately my phone has only Thai making it almost useless to me.
