Thank you guys for the fast answer. :o

I'd be careful choosing a CDMA phone. Most are NOT EV-DO compatible. Without EV-DO they won't be much better than EDGE.

Hi :o

Are there ANY phones available here that support EV-DO..? Not that i am aware of.... but then, i use it for phone calls, not for data. If i want data, i get a USB-modem (EV-DO). My phone can be used as a modem (Samsung F679) but also 2000-1x only (153 kb/s).

Best regards....

Thanh

I think the only one available is the Motorola Q. The 20,000 baht price choked me up some.

Ahem.......

My friend Google told me long ago that there's a bunch of phones that support EV-DO. Unfortunately my friend Google told me also that NONE of those comes to Thailand.......... which is why none of those is, in any way, shape or form, of any use for me :o

And i can't stand PDA phones.

That pink LG looks nice... is it available in Thailand and does it support R-UIM cards?? Because without that feature it's useless (and the stone-age systems in the U.S.A. haven't gotten there yet).

Best regards.....

That's what (Fl)ebay is for!

I rather like the functions, it makes it easy to be more on the go; and with a high speed data connection I'd think it would be a waste not to have the ability to have a quick go at google or wikipedia or get your emails.

I doubt it's for sale in Thailand, refer to my first comment.

Best regards.....
