Cambodia Visa Run

I like Ban Laem, SM travel was one of the first to go there early but they drop the service.

Last time saw jack doing it & went with them.

Next time will look a different company for Ban Leam visa run

Any recommendations for Pattaya to Cambodia for AFTERNOON pick up?

Last year I did a visa run to Cambo with a company in soi Buachao. They are located just around the corner from

soi Diana, in a big british pub (I forgot the name). They are ok and do late visa runs as well.

Also do smoking/non smoking vans.

Personally, I drive myself.

The easiest is certainly the border crossing at Prom.

It´s located about 20 km´s before the Bang Laem crossing.

It will take you about 2 hours to get there.

The waiting time there is the time you use to fill out the various forms.

No queues or anything, and everyone on both sides of the border

are friendly and helpful, maybe because they are not stressed by too many crossing over .

Worst queue I ever experienced there, was 2 people (3 mins).

You will, however, have to pay the usual 300 baht for quick re-entry to Thailand.

I wonder how they solve the problem with the 90day ruling, which they are still not able to controll.

Jack is not going to control anything .... the rule still stands .... I guess, even if they miscalculated, your passport will be returned

and you have to be processed 'manually'.

I'm not sure,but maybe it's called Witherspoons? I heard they do afternoon

runs from Pattaya to Ban Laem? I wonder if they pick us up or we meet there ??

Anyone familiar with something like this?

You´re right.

I remember it being Witherspoons.

You usually turn up shortly before you are off. where they check to see

if your paperwork is ok.

Just a quick note. We were in Phnom Penh last month. Got new Thai 60 day visa...almost no questions asked. Very easy. Then crossed back in on the bus from Siem Reap. Hassle free. Does anyone know if a one year, multiple entry, visa in Phnom Penh is just as easy?

I missed this post and I'm surprised no one has commented on it.

Phnom Penh has been a no-go for tourist visas, but mazuntex claimed he got one easily. Has something changed in Phnom Penh?

Just got back... well 60 minutes ago... from Jack's 5am Visa Run!

Arrived at the pick point Suk Soi 12 at 4.45 did the paperwork.

Bus left promptly at 5am

Left Cambodia promptly at 9:30am

Arrived in Bangkokish 12:30pm

BUS DRIVER was QUALITY... not crazy at all.

Choice of 5 drop off points....

Top service...

Nice people...

Plenty of Explanation...

Decent Bus...

One hour wait in Casino was not to long but FOOD was AVERAGE at BEST!!

Took my book and read it

Listened to my iPod

...and watch Thailand roll by.

2200B I paid for this service ($80-90) was worth it and it was TOTALLY stress free.

Will be using them again!
