hi just got a true sim card for laptop should now be on but i aint gor a telephone no for my laptop to dial up??

There's several options. One thing you can do is get a cheap mobile to connect to your laptop via USB cable. Other wise, you can use IRDA (same system used for remote controls...more or less :o), or bluetooth if your phone and laptop both support them. The alternative is to get an Aircard or USB module. The Aircards simply accepts your simcard and plugs into the 1/4" x 3" (PCMCIA) slot on the side of your laptop. The USB module also accepts your simcard and obviously plugs into a USB port. I used to recommend going the Aircard route, but with the move to ExpressCard slots and away from PCMCIA slots, this is not a good recommendation anymore. I do know you can get those USB modems inside TukCom......
