Non O Special Extention

Featured Replies

Well, i have couple of questions

i stay in the kingdom under a non O visa and want to know if there is any kind of extention (for a month or two) as I'm waiting for my thai wife's visa approval to go to my country.

and for the next,

The first time i obtained non O visa was at Savanaket, Laos.

After 90 days i went again to the same place.

The immigration officer told me that every time i apply for non O visa, it's should be done from different place, but said that becaue i didn't know that he will issue a new one anyway.

So what did he mean by a different place? do i need to go to a different country? or can go to vientiane as well?

You can obtain a one time 60 day extension of stay to be with your wife. You will need her and her ID card/home register/your passport/marriage certificate and TM.7 form with 4x6cm photo of you and 1,900 baht. It is section 7.23 of Police Order 606/2006
