When I press the re set botton on my Billion Bipac 5200s adsl it switches me off in the tot office. I loose my connection, they connect me up again if I phone them. the reason I press the botton is I am trying to access the 5200s from my pc in order to try and set up a password.

Is tot dropping me off because I do not have a password and have never had any information from my 5200s.

I also have a Billion bipac router but model BIPAC 5102G.

You do not need to press the reset on the modem/router.

In order to access the settings you should use your Internet browser. Enter http://192.168.1.1 then press enter, you should get a log-in screen where you enter user and password, factory setting is usually user: admin and PW: admin

after you get in you can change everything as you like.
