Missing Person

can anyone help me locate a missing person. a good friend of mine was last seen at the full moon party feb 24th and has not been in contact since . he has many friends in bkk and chiang mai and mentioned no plans to leave thailand. most worrying is the fact that he left his backpack and clothes at his accommodation and hasnt been back. his name is danny hall, english, 36yrs old, approx 6ft tall medium build with short black hair. his parents have been in touch with the embassy etc and they and his friends are getting very worried. any help or advice would be most welcome.

Has anyone gone to the Tourist Police box in Chewang and filed a report. I checked there and no one has heard of this case. Get a picture of the man over to them or you can send it to me and any other information you may have.

Maxusa: there's nothing in the message that says that Danny Hall, the missing friend, was staying on Chaweng beach, Koh Samui; the FMP is on Koh PhanGan.

thanks for replying guys. unfortunately i havnt got all the facts yet, i am still trying to verify if his passport, atm cards, etc were left with his personal effects, not even sure of his last known address or visa status (he arrived in the kingdom around 23rd jan, dont know if he had a 30 day or longer or renewed it ) just what i said in the OP. i can tell you that he has spent some time in the country before and knows the score here. maybe some innocent explanation but out of character not to get in touch

Contact the guys parents and get them in touch with his bank (may need a letter from a solicitor)..check on any credit/debit card use over the missing period..it may show a pattern of use of some possible help…try to get his passport number possibly from where he was last staying and then go to Immigration explain the problem and get them to check if he has left Thailand (you will need police help to do this)

Strange but true some people disappear for a few weeks and then arrive back as if nothing happened?????

as per forum rules this has to be closed. If a proper missing person report from the british embassy can be provided then admin may allow this to be opened again.
