A Thai person is allowed to hold citizenship of more than one country.

It depends on the US regulations if they allow dual citizenship.

Actually neither country (Thailand/USA) allows dual citizenship by law. But both allow it as a practical matter as there are no laws to prevent it. So there is no need to lose citizenship of the other country.
