Farma
More info Thai television is talking about the product out of china and it is being marketed as a sexual stimulant drink. Not sure of the properties but the Thai TV station is reporting that it supposedly works. They named the product but my wife cant remember the name... it should be on the evening news as well. I’m informed the products have been banned by the Thai FDA. Also informed the secret ingredient showed in tests to be Viagra. Drat there goes my plans for a coffee shop selling special coffee . Naam
Chinese marketing isn't always exactly generous with the truth. It may be another product from the makers of this Wonder Cream? "shrink c*nt" is quite an interesting property of the product

LaoPo
From what I have heard... ecstasy ... is a hallucinogen in higher doses.... but in low doses has been known to have the same effect.... I know a woman who experienced this ... but by choice... but she swears that this is what they are talking about... she felt like she would have had sex with anyone who asked her for it. But I doubt they are selling this in a instant coffee. Added to it maybe... Correct and true. High quality (not mixed with bad and dangerous stuff) XTC and than grind and put in any drink could have that effect. They call it the 'Love Pill' in the west. Pepe'
I have taught classes in The Pharmacology of Traditional Chnese Herbal Medicine. There is no single herb orcombination that can have anything even close o this. Over the years we have had several patent/prepared medicines adulterated with western drugs not listed on the label. Sleep meds, antihistamines, weight-loss formulas etc. I wouldn't be suprised to hear they are putting Viagra in this "secret" formula. Viagra does have a similar effect on many women as it does on men...
sriracha john
What's lacking in these comparisons or assessments that they are western drugs involved, whether licit or illicit, is that they don't address the issue that the 2 examples provided. One said their reaction was "instant" and the other said it was "sudden"... None of the drugs mentioned in the thread thus far have those type of reaction times. sriracha john
Warnings against Aphrodisiac Orange Juice and Coffee Drinks A foundation for women and children has warned women that many have fallen prey to orange juice and coffee aphrodisiac drinks, which may result in rape. Former MP Paweena Hongsakul of the Paweena Hongsakul Foundation for Women and Children, held a press conference today to warn women of a new threat to their safety. She brought out two women who have fallen prey to simple coffee and orange juice drinks, containing aphrodisiac substances in them. Both women said they were offered coffee and orange juice by men but after drinking the beverages, they felt dizzy and felt a rising sexual desire. It then resulted in both of them having unwillingly sexual intercourse with the men. The foundation then showed samples of three packets of powdered drinks, two of which are coffee for men and women and one is orange juice for women. The drinks must be mixed with warm water. However, the packaging does not have the drinks' brand or the Food and Drug Administration mark required to sell all food and beverages in Thailand. The foundation warns women not to accept beverages from strangers, even if they are harmless drinks like coffee or orange juice. It will move ahead to have the powdered drinks tested to determine their composition. However, doctors have come out to question the powdered drinks, saying there is currently no known chemicals with aphrodisiac effects and the drinks may just contain chemicals that induce drowsiness, which makes it easy for the women to be taken advantage of. - Thailand Outlook

sriracha john
Tests on 'aphrodisiac' drinks The Department of Medical Sciences will conduct lab tests to look for any harmful substances in samples of coffee and orange juice claimed to have been laced with an aphrodisiac. Acting Secretary-General of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Chatree Bancheun said yesterday that drinks said to have been spiked with a sex stimulant and sold to unsuspecting women, which were sold as instant coffee and orange juice in packets, did not meet FDA standards, according to tests on samples. The drinks story came to light after Pavena Hongsakula, Chairwoman of the Pavena Hongsakula Foundation for Women and Children, issued a warning about coffee mixed with an aphrodisiac that left the drinkers excessively aroused. It was especially dangerous to women because it triggered an uncontrollable desire to have sex with men who set out to take advantage of them. She gave some samples to Public Health Minister Chaiya Sasomsab and the FDA Chief yesterday. Chatree said the results of the lab tests on samples of the drinks would be made public in Continued here: http://www.bangkokpost.com/News/09Apr2008_news05.php

But, I agree, it doesn't work 'instant' or 'sudden' but time is relative when drugged and the women/girls could have lost control of sense and time and therefore told it happened 'sudden' or 'instant'. MDMA/Xtc works quite fast but not instantly. LaoPo
Gary A
What a bunch of bullshit. That product would be worth millions if it existed. Marketed properly, maybe worth billions. A friend of mine actually emailed me and wanted to know where to buy it. I told him that walking into the type of bars he frequents with a thousand baht note taped to his forehead would be enough to kill him and that he had NO need to hand out aphrodisiacs. Johpa
I find that holding up a few thousand baht bills often has the same effect. Careful there, we are only one year away from the 10 year anniversary of a notorious internet libel case that had its roots in a claim that the Thai translation for "I love you" was "haa roi baat". Prakanong
Who said it worked the same on women? I can remember the theory a few years ago and Pfizer did test it on women http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/485855.stm I cal reliably posit that the results were not positive and it had no effect on women as if it did it would have been marketed by now so saying it has the same effect is highly improbable - clinical trial results please? As the other poster say's - a legal tested version of any drug with the results posited in this case would make the person who discovered it billions - it would be a blockbuster. Pavena's search for publicity does lead her to making herself look a fool sometimes.

Exactly - she would be so much more credible sticking to real issues as there are enough for her to get stuck into without the likes of this crass nonesense - I sat next to an Indian woman living in Canada on the plane the other day and we were howling at this story in the BKK Post - the Thai hosties had a look and joined in too. Beardog
i wonder whether any person with an IQ above 82.5 believes that kind of bullshit That would exclude George Bush! It sure couldn't have been ecstasy (takes to long ) or Rufinol (still takes too long & she probably wouldn't remember anything for a while. Ahhhh maybe the Orange drink was laced with another older famous drink from the 70's A Panty dropper! torrenova
Women lured into sex by aphrodisiac coffee, juicePavena issues warning after victims speak out Pavena said she was told about it three weeks ago by a university student named Bee. The young woman said she knew a man through an internet contact and the two eventually met in person over a meal at the man's house. I sincerely doubt that the girl went to the mans house without knowing what was on his mind - and more than likely on hers too. Plenty of places to meet for a first date without going to the chaps home. More than likely she just later regretted having sex with him and looked for an excuse for her behaviour - either for her own peace of mind or to tell her parents. Patrick That's about the truth of it I believe. As for extacy making you lose control, then I believe it can heighten the desire of loving but not so much as to overwhelm your basic desires. Tuhs, it would not make you have sex with someone who you did not want to anyway but may make you do so more quickly just as alcohol.
Tony Clifton
This is another bullshit story similar to the one the gambling wives were using 2 years ago after emptying the bank account and selling the jewelery when they said a mysterious man touched them applying a substance and they were hypnotized and then used the ATM to empty the account. She made a mistake but blames it on coffee. Also, she says she went to the man's house? Where is the accused man? Too drunk to remember?
