Anyone know if DTAC GPRS works upcountry (Khon Kaen specifically).

I use the GPRS air card and a DTAC sim and was told by DTAC that it only works in BKK.

Anyone with experience otherwise?

I've used my Axen/DTAC set-up in Loei. It was hit and miss. If you absolutely need a connection then don't rely on it. But it does work, albeit sporadically.

I live in Buriram province and have IPstar Satellite Internet. As a back up and for travelling I use DTAC's GPRS - it serves me well and I never have any problems with it.

DTAC are very helpfull if you have problems setting it up etc - they will call you back

Croftrobin, how much travel have you done with it and what did you find it's limits to be for range? Is your connection stable everywhere you have used it? And does it require additional set-up, or tweaking by DTAC?
