Last year I wen to Khao Sarn Road for Songkran, it was OK but I found it overcrowded, i'm not comfortable being part of a mob like that.

Does anyone have any suggestions for alternate locations to go for some fun?

Try Chokchai 4 or Silom(crowded as well) or RCA at night.
