Caucasions Sit Outside Dining In Thailand And Get Pollution.

Whilst Thailand's weather now are very much..crazy..extremely..madly..<deleted>*king HOT!!

I have to take Tylenol tablets since hot weather cause me having a fever these few days

and I feel like the earth is spinning. I guess I can be :o this very soon...

Driving in a car and stuck in crazy traffic jam on Sukhumvit Rd, I had looked around and see..into a fine hotel.

some Caucasians sat, sipped coffee, read newspaper, talked on cell...whatever..do...

My thought, didn't they feel any hot?

I understand you guys love the lovely sunshine whilst your countries' weather are mostly cold to freeze.

I once had lived my life within this climate for quite a while. I don't like living in cold, feel like a dying-plant.

I was alive and enjoy every time in those sunny days. I really love the clear blue sky.

But in Thailand, it is always sunny to too much sunny..

Doing so, not only lovely sunshine you get, but the carbon dioxide from the cars in the road in front of your seat, as well.

Besides there is too less tree to breathe in a fresh air.

I don't afraid of getting dark and cancer, also avoid whitening skincares.

But I really don't get it.....How come Caucasians can manage enjoying meals with the pollution and crazy traffic view?

Kha (คะ)? :D

Eating outside makes me feel like I'm back home in the South of France.

But you the know the air inside probably comes from outside, so it may not be that much cleaner.

They are sitting outside to show their disgust at all the filthy smokers contaminating the air inside. What they don't realise is that we are sitting in the aircon laughing at them, and breathing cleaner air. Go figure.

They sit outside cuz they are smokers. If you had driven on soi 11 this morning you'd have seen me outside dying of the heat while my friend stuffed himself and smoked. What was worse is that the taxi drivers have now taken to leaving their enginmes running with the a/c on as they snooze, so you get those fumes as well as the ciggy smoke.

Is recycled air clean? I'd sooner breathe somebody elses smoke than to sit in the recycled "breaths" of everybody inside.

Anyway, many parts of Australia are much hotter than Thailand. Where I come from in Australia, it is not uncommon to get temperatures of 47 degrees Celsius in summer...at 80% humidity. In that climate, it's hard to lift a finger.

Thanks for all the answering....

So sorry, I have been lost....... I had passed away 3 days ago (after posting this 2hrs)

I met God in the heaven, but he said the world still needs a very good heart lady like me.

He asked me going back the save the world, I couldn't resist his good intention...

That's why I come back here....Hope you guys are happy having me again :o hehe....

(I guess this is reasonable excuse....)

//rewket = I wonder how many times/day you take shower and where to take...actually? :D

//ade100 = You are so lucky living in Singapore and Phuket occasionally,

SP has lots of tree, so no doubt that the weather is so fresh.

I had vacation in Phuket in 1st week of this month.

swimming all 2days at Koh Hi, it was a very good time for me....

I have planned to move to stay in Phuket but now trying to keep save the money...

//lannarebirth = why only Glasgow?... May be you are Glasgow man, right?

//jayhech = I do know that, but had no choice, lot of stuffs to carry, many places to go for work that day...

//sweetchariot + geriatrickid = I see, but as I know it is illigal to smoke at the food shop area, right?

//bkkblueeyes = I will do that when I go up-country or any restaurant with lots of tree.. Living life in a/c is not quite healthy...

but this...with pollution, I can't just go with the flow.

//ijustwannateach = Sorry, I don't understand your post, please educate me... :D

//dakhar = God said he realizes how good man you are, please keep doing it... you will get the prize for being Mr.Hero when the time you meet God... :D

//elkangorito= Yes, but as less trees here in LOS, compare to Oz, I would think here is worse na kha....

//Pepe = You are a bit mean to me :D ....made me so hot in the heart with the envy feeling.... No good lei.... :D

Why did you pick a username of Midori Apple?

I don't like eating outside even if it wasn't hot. One can only eat with one hand because the other is busy swatting flys off the food all night and day. Add traffic noise on top of that....why bother?

I think you will find that there are less trees (per square kilometre) in Australia. Australia is the driest populated continent on earth. And yes, Australia is very much hotter (& more humid) than Thailand, depending upon where you are in Australia & the time of year. Try living in Darwin...then you will know what "hot & wet" really is.

I'll eat outside. One thing I won't do is eating on the f*&^ floor. :o Primitive.

Eating whilst sitting on the floor is no problem for me whatsoever although I do have a problem sharing "utensils" with Thais...since they have this disgusting "I'll pick my nose anytime & anywhere" habit. At least if you sit outside of a restaurant, the flicked "snot" may have disintegrated quickly. Have you ever checked the underside of a chair in a Thai restaurant/cafe/eatery? Let me tell you, it is not pleasant.

There is clearly more than one type of "pollution".
