They have a membership desk. Cost is 0 Baht. Need passport and Thai address. No membership actually needed they all have a number they can use if you don't have one.

I bought some items there recently... not a member. They are flexible when it comes to taking your money.

So long as you have cash they are fine. Have bought with and without a card. The card is better for business purposes.

You also get the latest offers via your postal address, which in itself can be a possible incentive ???

They dont accept UK Makro cards too BTW.

I went in last week, went up to the membership desk and before I could speak the girl asked me "Do you want to go shopping" I said "yes" so she wrote a number on a piece of paper for me and off I went. I bought a tv and paid by credit card with no problem.

When my thai friend asked later how we could get a card she was told if you spend at least 2,000b and take the receipt to the membership desk you can get a card..
